Editorial standards

Editorial standards

These are the commitments behind everything Curated Take publishes.

Who writes, and how it is made

Our articles are researched and written in-house by the editors of Curated Take, and edited before they run. We publish on quality, not volume — a piece runs when it is right.

Accuracy and sourcing

We check claims before we publish them. Where a piece relies on data, research, or another outlet’s reporting, we say so and link to the source. Where a claim rests on the writer’s own experience, we make that clear rather than dressing it as fact.

Independence

Curated Take’s editorial judgment is its own. Commercial relationships — advertising, sponsorship, or partner content — do not decide what we cover or what we conclude. Editorial and business operate separately.

Partner and sponsored content

Some pieces may be produced with, or paid for by, a partner. When that is the case, the piece is clearly labeled as sponsored or partner content, before the reader begins reading. Curated Take retains editorial control of anything published under its name; a partner cannot buy a conclusion. How to work with us is set out on Partner with us.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it in the open. Our process — how to report an error and how corrections are recorded — is on the corrections page.
