Curated Take keeps data collection to a minimum. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Server and delivery data. Our site is served through a content-delivery network (Cloudflare), which processes standard request information — IP address, browser type, and pages requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Analytics. If site analytics are enabled, we use them only in aggregate to understand which articles are read. We do not use analytics data to identify individual readers.
Correspondence. If you email us or send a pitch, we keep your message and contact details to reply and to keep a record of the exchange.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to a newsletter, we store the email address you give us for that purpose, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell personal data. We do not build advertising profiles of our readers.

We use only the cookies required to deliver and secure the site. We do not set advertising cookies.
